HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – There has been some confusion over who can shop when at the Holland Farmers Market.
That’s according to Market Master Sara Cozolino, who says that, between 8 AM and 9 AM on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Eighth Street Market outside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center, it’s an honor system to ensure that those who need extra time to shop can shop in comfort.
“We really want to reserve that for immune-compromised folks, pregnant ladies, seniors and anyone who may need a bit more time,” she said on “WHTC Morning News” during her weekly appearance on Wednesday. “I do want to make sure people understand that you wouldn’t know someone is immune-compromised just by looking at them, and it’s not something that we’re going to ask.”
The Holland Farmers Market is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 AM to 2 PM through December 19th.
