HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 39-year-old Crockery Township man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020.
He’d been driving 2005 Chevrolet Silverado and not not wearing his seatbelt when the crash happened at 130th Avenue near Hickory Street in Crockery Township, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities. .Police learned he’d been speeding south on 130th Avenue and lost control of the truck, which went off the road, hitting a culvert to a private drive, flipping and ejecting the driver.
He went by North Ottawa Community Hospital ambulance to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon with back and lower extremity injuries, according to police.
This crash remains under investigation.
