HOLLAND (WHTC-AM-FM) — Ottawa County Deputies are investigating an attempted malicious destruction of property at Fairhaven Ministries Church, 2900 Baldwin in Georgetown Township.
Church members told police they found a burned bottle on the ground Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, that appeared to have a flammable liquid inside.
Police believe the bottle was thrown at the window, in an attempt to damage the church.
The bottle didn’t break the window, and the fire burned itself out without causing any damage to the building.
