UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – The latest COVID 19 numbers for Ottawa and Allegan County have been posted.
Officials of the Ottawa County Department of Public Health made the following disclosure on Tuesday afternoon:

2,021 total cases

63 deaths

6.5% of those stricken were hospitalized

1,620 are considered recovered
-
64,952 COVID 19 tests conducted in the county
-
2,704 positive results, 62,248 negative results (4.2% positive)
The numbers provided by the health department were as of August 25th.
In other data: The highest concentration of cases continues to be in the southwest corner of the county, including the cities of Holland and Zeeland; the most cases were in the 20-29 age group, with the most deaths of those 80 and over.

The numbers were taken from the county’s COVID 19 dashboard and are continuously updated.
In other data: The highest concentration of cases continue to be in the northwest corner of the county, including Holland, and in the area served by the Fennville post office; the most cases were in the 20-29 age group, followed closely by those 40-49.
