CASCO TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – More information has come forth involving a two-vehicle injury crash on Monday night north of South Haven.
First responders had been dispatched to the intersection of 64th Street and 111th Avenue just before 9 PM on a report of a two-vehicle crash. An eastbound pickup truck, with a trailer in tow, hit a northbound pickup, whose unconscious driver had to be extricated by rescuers and was flown to an undisclosed medical facility.
On Tuesday evening, Allegan County Sheriff’s Captain Chris Kuhn sent out a department statement to the effect that the injured motorist, a 23-year-old Fennville man, had suffered a severe concussion, while the other driver was a 25-year-old Paw Paw man, who was not hurt. The names of the drivers were not disclosed.
Kuhn added that, at this point, “alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash,” which remains under investigation.
