HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – One more event to add to the list of summer festivities going on in the Lakeshore area this weekend is the 9th annual community-wide Summer Picnic, hosted by Fulfilling Life Ministries.
The Picnic takes place on Verhoeven Farm on Hollands southside and will feature kids games, haryrides, a zipline and climbing wall, as well as fishing on the farm pond and a petting zoo from Zeeland’s Critter Barn! BBQ will be provided by Earl’s meats.
Attendees can also pay their respects to fallen heroes at the Michigan Military Memorial Wall during the picnic.
I.D. crew, a motivational Christian group utilizing dance, music, media, and athleticism, will be performing on the front stage at 4:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
The Picnic is especially designed for those with special needs. Fulfilling Life Ministries specifically prides itself in welcoming those with disabilities, both intellectual and physical.
Fulfilling Life Ministries Summer Picnic will be start at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and is located at 5734 143rd Ave. in Holland.
