HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 2, 2026) – Kids of all ages can get up close and personal with some big rigs on Saturday.
The family-friendly Touch-a-Truck is from 9:30 AM to 1 PM at Windmill Island Gardens, with a “siren-free” time slated for the first two hours of the event. Construction vehicles, utility trucks, emergency vehicles, and other large apparatus will be on display for all to explore, along with free hayrides to take a look at the vintage DeZwaan Windmill from all angles. Admission is $5 for adults, with youths 15 and under entering free.
It’s one of many events this far in 2026 that have brought over 150,000 visitors to the home of Holland’s iconic symbol, according to City Manager Keith Van Beek.
Windmill Island Gardens will reopen next weekend before preparing for the Magic at the Mill holiday light show during weekends in December.
