GOLDEN TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Forest Hills Eastern High School senior Luke Kooistra was killed early Sunday morning in an off-road vehicle crash and former classmate Bryce Peterson is charged.
Peterson is 18 and was charged yesterday with operating while intoxicated causing death, which is a 15-year felony if he’s convicted.
The two were among six total people on the side-by-side ORV when it crashed just after 12:30 a.m. on North 28th Avenue in Oceana County’s Golden Township.
Kooistra was 17 and was the son of Dr. Josh Kooistra, the president of Corewell Health West Michigan.
