HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 17, 2026) – The Holland City Council now has a three weeks to go over what Tulip City government will have to work with in Fiscal 2027.
The governing panel concluded back-to-back evenings of budget review on Thursday night, reviewing a proposed spending plan of nearly $38 million dollars from the general fund, which includes taking about $300,000 from reserves to balance the books. That number may seem daunting to some, but not to First Ward Councilman Tim Vreeman.
The Holland City Council will hold a public hearing and a final vote concerning the budget on Wednesday, May 13th.
