JAMESTOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 13, 2025) – A 12-year-old Hudsonville girl is expected to recover from non-life threatening injuries sustained after being hit by a SUV in Jamestown on Wednesday afternoon.
First responders were dispatched around 3:15 PM to Greenly Street near Jamesfield Drive, east of 32nd Avenue. That was where the youth attempted to cross the main roadway and apparently didn’t see the westbound motor vehicle, driven by a 35-year-old Grandville woman.
The child was taken in serious condition to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids for treatment, while the motorist was not hurt. No names were disclosed as the incident remains under investigation.
