HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 13, 2024) – The search is over for an 83-year-old Holland man who was believed to be endangered, but is now safe.
Family members last saw Richard Frank Boss on Thursday evening and believe that he had stepped out in the middle of the night. A diabetic afflicted with Alzheimer’s with difficulty walking, Mr. Boss was last seen wearing a yellow shirt with “Ludington” in the front, olive green shorts, and a baseball cap. He may have been driving a silver/grey 2006 VW Touareg with Michigan license plate DPP 971.
The vehicle in question was spotted in the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming around 5 AM on Friday, and family members added that Mr. Boss was an aficionado of McDonald’s coffee.
At 4 PM, Mr. Boss was spotted in Eaton County in good condition and has been returned to his family.
