Marianne Vos, age 81, of Holland, went home to be with her Lord on February 15, 2024.
Born on July 29, 1942, Marianne was a woman of unwavering faith, known for her gentle and compassionate spirit. She was a dedicated educator, having taught elementary school at the old South Side Christian Elementary School (Holland Christian Schools) after graduating from Calvin College.
Marianne’s loving memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, Ron Vos; daughters: Linnea and Loren Hop, Kerri and Doug Geerlings, Connie Vos; grandchildren: Rachel (Jake) VanderWall, Luke Hop, April Hop, Katelyn Geerlings, Allyson Geerlings, Meghan Geerlings; siblings Calvin (Ardith) DenBesten, Garry (Lynne) DenBesten; as well as extended family and friends.
To honor Marianne’s life and faith, Funeral service will take place at North Street Christian Reformed Church, 20 East Main Ave. Zeeland, MI 49464, at 11:00am on Friday, February 23, 2024. Visitation with the Vos family will be at church on Thursday, February 22, from 5:00-7:00pm.
