She was born to Dick and Dena Timmer on January 25, 1939, in Holland, MI. She attended Holland Christian Schools and Calvin College for one semester. She then worked at the Zeeland Record until she met Ray Klingenberg. They married on March 3, 1960, and soon started their family in a home in Zeeland. They were blessed with 3 daughters and Molly kept busy with her family and helping at school functions and activities. After the girls were in school, she worked at Huizenga’s Stop-n-Shop as a cashier and in the produce section. After Huizenga’s she worked part-time at Second Chance and then in later years, she and Ray were custodians at church She volunteered at Zeeland Hospital for many years and enjoyed greeting and helping people if needed.
Her spare time was filled with local high school and college sports and when her grandkids started playing, she was always at games and always cheering! Sports, dance recitals, whatever the kids did, she was there. She loved her grandkids immensely.
Another passion was music, a love shared by her father all her life and they sang in the Zeeland Civic Chorus production of The Messiah for many years, being joined in later years by her daughter Karen.
Molly and Ray enjoyed many winters on Anna Marie Island in Florida and made many great friends there.
