Memorial Day Parades/Services Slated Along Lakeshore

UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, May 29, 2022) – A multitude of communities along the Lakeshore will be holding Memorial Day parades and/or ceremonies on Monday.

Here’s a list of those in the Holland/Zeeland area:

• Holland – Parade at 9:30 AM from 8^th Street and Central, with service at Pilgrim Home Cemetery at 11 AM (coverage on 99 7/1450 WHTC)
• Zeeland – Parade at 9 AM from Main Avenue in front of Cityside Middle School, with service at Zeeland Cemetery afterward
• Saugatuck – Parade at 9 AM from the American Legion building
• Douglas – Parade at 10 AM from the Lake Vista Super Value market
• Olive Twp. – Service at 10:30 AM at Olive Township Cemetery
• Hamilton – Parade at 9 AM from Hamilton Middle School, with service at Riverside Cemetery afterward
• Hudsonville – Service at 10 AM at Veterans Park
• Grand Haven – Parade at 9:30 AM from 5^th and Franklin
• Jenison – Parade at 9 AM from Baldwin at 20^th
• Wayland – Parade at 11 AM from the Michigan State Police Post
• Plainwell – Parade at 11 AM
