HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 19, 2022) – A 17-year-old Holland Township woman is expected to recover from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash on Holland’s North Side on Thursday afternoon.
Just before 4 PM, Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Greg Rotman and other first responders were dispatched to Felch Street near West Shore Drive, just east of US-31. That was where a westbound sedan struck the back of a semi trailer that had been parked on the right lane to unload equipment. The force of the collision caused the sedan to overturn.
The unnamed woman was pinned in her vehicle and had to be extricated by rescuers. She was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The truck driver was not in his vehicle at the time of the crash, and there were no one else hurt in the incident, which remains under investigation.
