BLENDON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 22, 2022) – A three-year-old boy lost his life in an accident at a Blendon Township farm on Monday afternoon.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Nicholas Knott, deputies and other first responders were dispatched to a location not publicly disclosed around 3:10 PM on a report of a child being struck by a tractor. “Upon arrival, deputies and fire personnel began life-saving measures,” Knott said in a department statement. “However, the child succumbed to his injury.”
Other than noting that the tractor was apparently driven by a 21-year-old Hudsonville man, Knott gave no other details as to the circumstances surrounding the incident, saying that it is only “remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.”
I want to thank you for the way WHTC wrote this report. The report was written in a non threatening manner, much easier to read than other reports presented by other sources.
