HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 14, 2022) – With Michigan Republicans set to endorse its statewide slate of candidates that won’t be on the August primary ballot, a chance for the public to meet some of the hopefuls is coming up on Tuesday evening.
From 6 to 9 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church off of East 24th Street, the Ottawa County Republican Committee, along with other co-sponsors, will hold a GOP Statewide Candidate Forum. Slated to attend are Attorney General hopefuls Ryan Berman, Matt DePerno and Tom Leonard; Secretary of State hopefuls Cindy Berry, Kristina Karamo and Beau LaFave; Supreme Court hopefuls Paul Hudson, Michael Warren and Brian Zahra; and state Board of Education hopefuls Tami Carlone, Michelle Fredrick, Linda Lee Tarver and Richard Ziele.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will also be livestreamed through the church’s website.
The Michigan Republican Party State Endorsement Convention is set for April 23rd at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids.
