UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – Hope won a pair of basketball games from Central of Iowa in Orlando last night. In the opener, Kenedy Schoonveld had 13 points as the Flying Dutch took the women’s contest, 98-42. Ty George scored 19 of his 22 points after intermission as the men won the nightcap, 87-70. Next Wednesday’s evening, while Hope’s women are at Alma, Hope’s men entertain Trine at DeVos Fieldhouse, with broadcast time at 7:10 PM on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van.

Alec Burks came off of the bench to tally 34 points as the visiting New York Knicks stifled the Pistons last night, 94-85. Detroit hosts the San Antonio Spurs at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday evening.
Thanks in part to 25 points from Zach LaVine, the Bulls disposed of the visiting Atlanta Hawks at the United Center last night, 131-117. Chicago plays the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis tomorrow evening.
