Melvin Konjer, age 87, passed away on December 26, 2020. Melvin served his country proudly in the army, working as a medic. He was a janitor with West Ottawa Schools, and later opened his own cleaning business. A man of deep faith, Melvin was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church for many years. While he never had children of his own, Melvin was a devoted uncle, cherishing the time he spent with his nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean, and stepdaughter Michelle Cranmer. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Jan and Dan Taylor; Nephews David and Kim Taylor, Kevin and Melinda Taylor, and Brian Taylor. Private services will be held at a later date.
