UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – Regular season play in high school football along the Lakeshore concludes tonight, with six of the eight area teams slated for action.
At 6:40 PM, you can hear coverage of the West Catholic at Hamilton game with Greg Chandler on 99 7 and 1450 WHTC, or the Saugatuck at Lawton contest on The Lakeshore’s 92 7 The Van.
Other scheduled match ups include Holland hosting Wyoming at Ray & Sue Smith Stadium, Holland Christian at Coopersville, Zeeland East at Reeths-Puffer and Fennville at Kalamazoo United.
Games involving Zeeland West and West Ottawa were cancelled earlier this week due to COVID 19 concerns. However, these will not be forfeit losses for the Dux and Panthers, as both Mona Shores (hosting Detroit ML King) and Grand Haven (hosting Battle Creek Central) were able to find replacement contests for Saturday.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association will announce state championship tournament pairings on Sunday.
