HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The Holland City Council has its biweekly work-study session on tap for this evening … along with a special business meeting.
The special meeting will be behind closed doors, as is allowed under the state’s Open Meetings Act when a governing panel is discussing property acquisitions, such as the case tonight, as well as in labor negotiations and in reviewing legal opinions.
Before the meeting, Council will be looking at a proposed phone survey of residents, conducted for the city by Hope College’s Frost Center for Data and Research, which will go over a variety of topics about the quality of life in Holland and how they see the direction in which the city, the state and the country is going. Council will also discuss a community energy plan, as well as a proposed partnership with the Holland Area Arts Council.
The work-study session begins at 5:30 at Holland City Hall, with details on how the public can observe and participate here.
