HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Holland apparently continues to be very, very good to Hudsonville … Ice Cream, that is.
The 92-year-old creamery announced on Tuesday a nearly 1.6 million-dollar expansion of its East 48th Street facility. The growth of a new silo alcove and pilot plant would allow Hudsonville to have “more innovative flavor creations enabling an expanded distribution network across the United States,” according to a joint statement by the company and local business builder Lakeshore Advantage.
Since moving to Holland from Burnips 14 years ago, Hudsonville Ice Cream has expanded its distribution base to a number of neighboring Midwest states and currently employs 84 staffers.
