HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Wyoming resident Jynelle Stanton, 25, was airlifted to Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids after a Saturday morning crash on eastbound Chicago Drive near 56th avenue, according to Ottawa Coutny Sheriff’s Sgt. Brian Buter.
He said Stanton had been driving a 2012 Jeep on the inside lane and failed to see the F250 ahead of her, with West Olive resident Tito Ramirez-Hernandez, 48, at the wheel, turning into a private drive. Her Jeep crashed into the F250.
The impact tipped the Jeep over. Stanton was airlifted to Spectrum Health Butterworth with serious injuries, Buter said. Ramirez-Hernandez went by ambulance to Spectrum Health Zeeland for treatment of his injuiries, Buter said.
The crash remains under investigation.
