HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — James Douglas Hebrank, 46, of Wyoming, is due in 58th District Court in Grand Haven today, Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, for an arraignment in Judge Craig E. Bunce’s courtroom.
Hebrank is the suspect in a series of armed robberies or attempted robberies of West Michigan payday lending retailers.
He has been arraigned on two armed-robbery charges so far, in Holland 58th District Court — for the Dec. 4, 2018, robbery of the Check ‘N Go at 1111 S. Washington Ave. in Holland and a Dec. 7 robbery in Georgetown Twp.
Holland 58th District Chief Judge Bradley Knoll set a $750,000 cash bond per charge.
Hebrink remains in Ottawa County Jail. Police continue investigating in Ottawa, Allegan, Kent, Muskegon and Newaygo counties.
