HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The U-M hoodie robber suspect has a name: James Douglas Hebrank, 46, of Wyoming.
On Thursday, Hebrank was arraigned on what is expected to be the first of a series of armed robbery charges, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt. Mark Bennett.
Hebrank was arraigned on two armed-robbery charges — for the Dec. 4, 2018, robbery of the Check ‘N Go at 1111 S. Washington Ave. in Holland and a Dec. 7 robbery in Georgetown Twp.
Holland 58th District Chief Judge Bradley Knoll set a $1.5 milion cash bond — $750,000 per charge.
Hebrink remains in Ottawa County Jail and the investigation continues in Ottawa, Allegan, Kent, Muskegon and Newaygo counties.
