HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Autopsies have been completed on the two Holland Township residents found shot dead in their apartment on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt. Mark Bennett indicated in an email that each died of gunshot wounds. Domonique Marie Anaya, 22, had been shot multiple times, according to Bennett, and Marcus Deontae Meridy, 23, had one gunshot wound to the head.
Detectives believe this to be a murder-suicide, though the police investigation remains open. Bennett indicated that police aren’t seeking other suspects.
