Robert Meiste, age 77 of Zeeland, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Corinne, his children Mitchel and Melissa Meiste, Mark and Denise Meiste, Lee Ann and Jeremy Pearson, and Katlyn and Aaron Johnson, 8 grandchildren, his siblings, Joan Kalkman, Barb and Tom Elenbaas, Ed and Judy Meiste, and Sue and Duane Berens, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marshal and Sue Kramer, Fred and Jane Kramer, Carl and Alesha Kramer, and Deb Walker.
Bob was preceded in death by his sister Mary Zylman.
Bob graduated from Holland Christian High School and attended Michigan State University where he studied horticulture. Bob operated Holland Floral for over 30 years. Bob was born and raised in Holland. The Meiste family were faithful members of Prospect Park CRC until it closed, they then joined Graafschap CRC and currently are members of Family Church, Grace Campus.
Visitation will be 4-8 pm Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. The funeral service will be held at 1pm Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Family Church, Grace Campus, 9530 Woodbridge, Zeeland. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
