James Henry Kleiman, 71, of Fennville, MI passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Holland Hospital. Born June 16, 1949 in Holland, he was the son of the late Jarvin and Bernice (Meyer) Kleiman. James honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during Viet Nam. He would then go and receive numerous medals while in service overseas. Later, James went to work for Hayworth from which he eventually retired. Following retirement, he began working from home as a webmaster. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and had been an avid supporter of the Second Amendment and pro-gun rights. James faithfully walked and served Jesus daily and watched Shepherd’s Chapel Bible Study every day with a beer in his hand. He was an incredibly gifted artist who especially loved to create beautiful oil and watercolor paintings and playing guitar. James also enjoyed going hill climbing in his Bronco.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, David Kleiman and Daniel Kleiman. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Kleiman.
A graveside funeral service will take place at Graafschap Cemetery on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at 1:00 PM. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the family. Chappell Funeral Home is assisting the Kleiman family with arrangements
