The state major-college football regular season has ended with yesterday’s announcement by Maryland officials of the cancellation of tomorrow night’s scheduled home contest against visiting Michigan State. This comes two days after Michigan officials called off the Wolverines’ last contest at Iowa slated for tomorrow afternoon. COVID 19 issues were cited in both situations. With bowl bids not expected, the cancellations mean that MSU and U-M finish with 2-5 and 2-4 records, respectively.
