Hope College swept a pair of games from Adrian College yesterday. At the Merrilat Center, Marcus Wourman had 19 points as the visiting Flying Dutchmen won, 85-75. At DeVos Fieldhouse, Anna Richards had 18 points as the Flying Dutch prevailed, 88-46. While the women are off until visiting Alma next Saturday, the men entertain Kalamazoo in Holland on Wednesday evening.
Grand Valley State swept a pair of games from visiting Michigan Tech at the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale yesterday. Nicole Kamin had 20 points as the Lakers won the women’s opener, 76-62. Mason Docks had 13 points as the men topped the visiting Huskies in the nightcap, 55-46. GVSU’s teams are in Hammond to battle Purdue Northwest on Thursday evening.
In state major-college basketball last night, Central Michigan 62, Bowling Green State 59, and Massachusetts 70, Eastern Michigan 67. This afternoon, Northern Kentucky is at Oakland.

Nathan MacKinnon had two goals with an assist, as the visiting Colorado Avalanche blanked the Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit yesterday, 5-0. The two teams have a rematch in Denver tomorrow evening, with broadcast time at 8:45 PM on WHTC Holland’s Cool FM.

Behind 29 points from Ayo Dosunmu, the Chicago Bulls beat the Heat in Miami last night, 125-118. The two teams have another game against each other at the Kaseya Center in South Florida this evening.
