Hope College swept a pair of games from Adrian College last night. At DeVos Fieldhouse, Parker Hovey and Marcus Wourman each tallied 17 points in an 86-76 home court triumph. At the Merillat Center, Maddie Petroelje’s 17 points led all five starters in double figure scoring in an 84-65 road victory. There is a basketball doubleheader in Holland on Saturday afternoon, with the Flying Dutchmen entertaining Alma, and the Flying Dutch hosting the Belles of St. Mary’s.
Grand Valley State’s basketball teams entertain Davenport in a twin bill at the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale this evening.
In state major-college basketball last night, Michigan won at Washington, 82-72. This evening, Detroit Mercy is at Northern Kentucky, and Oakland is at Milwaukee.
