Ernie was born and raised in Holland Michigan, where he was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He loved to spend his time enjoying good food, good music, great laughs and good friends and family. He will be remembered for his generosity, loving heart and big belly laugh. May he rest peacefully
He was preceded in death by his father Ernesto Sr.; grandparents Adelbert “Bill” (Wanda) Newville; and his sister Tonya.
Ernie is survived by his wife Margarita, mother Ruth Cantu; children Zaden and Helena Cantu; brother Enrique (Ally) Cantu; sister Arianna (Jacob) Victor; many extended family and friends.
A memorial visitation for Ernesto will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street 49424.
