Kevin M. Riemersma, age 63, of Holland, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Kevin was born and raised in Holland, graduated from West Ottawa Public Schools, and worked for Thermotron Industries for over 45 years. He was beloved by all; known for his sense of humor, sharp wit, and great head of hair. He enjoyed bow hunting for deer and was an avid craftsman both in and out of work, but his passion was golf. He was a fantastic father and husband, and always said that his greatest accomplishment was raising his two sons. In Kevin’s memory, he would love for you to go out and play a round of golf, drink a beer, and have a good laugh.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Merry Jo; sons, Nickolas Riemersma and Sean (Bea) Riemersma; siblings, Jeff (Jodi) Riemersma, Terri (Brian) Rexford, Janine (Kevin Moore) Riemersma, Greg (Patty) Riemersma; brothers and sisters in-law, Jill (Scott Boerman) Vanden Bosch, Bryan (pam) VanDen Bosch, Kelly (Micki) VanDen Bosch, Bob (Stacy) VanDen Bosch; mother in-law, Joyce VanDen Bosch.
Mr. Riemersma was preceded in death by his parents, “Remo” and Harriet Riemersma; brother in-law, Wayne VanDen Bosch.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 1, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland.
