Jeff L. Brown, age 81, of Zeeland, was welcomed into the Arms of Jesus on Monday, November 27, 2023.
Jeff served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked as a Business Administrator for 25 years at Zeeland Public Schools. He was an avid fisherman, a loving husband and father, and cherished spending time with his grandkids.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nola Weenum; children and grandchildren: Eric & Melissa Brown (Braden), Amy & Tom Woodrick (Alex, Haley), Dawnna Brown (Maylin, Ellison), Derek & Jennifer Weenum (Drew, Sarah, Peyton); brother-in-law, Rod Tarnow; and close cousin, Greg (Linda) Gunder.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph & Donnabelle (Kurtz) Brown; and his sister, Chris Tarnow.
A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11: 45 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland. A funeral service, with Rev. Kevin Pike officiating, will directly follow at 12:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Zeeland Cemetery.
