WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO AM/FM) — U.S. Representative Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, announced Friday that he will be visiting communities in the 6th Congressional District to celebrate and acknowledge the recipients of federal grants he helped support in Congress.
“There are so many great projects to improve our communities, schools and neighborhoods, and I was pleased to advocate and provide support for all of them,” Upton said. “The projects selected for federal grant funding will have a positive impact, and I commend all our local officials for their leadership and efforts to successfully secure this funding.”
Upton provided the following dates, times and locations for the events. Given the possibility of votes in the House next week, he noted some events may have to be postponed last minute so he can return to Congress for votes.
