UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – A full slate of eight girls/boys doubleheaders involving all 20 of the Lakeshore’s high school varsity basketball teams were on tap for this evening.
However, the elements have forced the Fennville at Martin and Lawrence at Saugatuck contests to be postponed. While no make up date was immediately disclosed by the Clippers, the Indians’ contest with the Tigers will be played this coming Wednesday, February 14th, beginning at 5:30 PM. Due to a conflict with Hope College basketball, the rescheduled Saugatuck games will not be broadcast on WYVN.
Greg Chandler will describe the boys’ game between West Ottawa and visiting Grand Haven, beginning around 7:25 PM, on 1450 WHTC and the New 99.7 FM.
Other action includes Hamilton at Holland, Holland Christian at Unity Christian, Zeeland West at Zeeland East and Calvary at Black River.

Grand Valley State split a doubleheader with visiting Wayne State at the DeltaPlex last night. Jenn DeBoer had 16 points as the Lakers took the women’s opener, 71-41, while Chuck Key’s 22 points helped the Warriors capture the men’s nightcap, 66-60. GVSU entertains the Davenport Panthers at the Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale tomorrow evening.
In state major-college basketball tonight, Detroit is at Oakland.

The Detroit Red Wings are in Brooklyn to battle the New York Islanders this evening.
Tyler Seguin scored two goals, including the first in a three-goal second period for Dallas, as the visiting Stars defeated the Blackhawks at the United Center last night, 4-2. Chicago is in St. Paul to face the Minnesota Wild tomorrow evening.
