WHITEHALL, MI (WHTC) – For the second time in three years, a high school boys’ basketball team from the Tri-Cities was victimized by a locker room burglary at a state tournament game played in Muskegon County. On Monday, four Spring Lake team members reported cell phones and cash taken from the locker room while the Lakers were winning at Whitehall High. Police have leads but no suspects in custody. In 2013, the Grand Haven High locker room was burgled while the Bucs played a tournament game at Mona Shores.
