HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a home invasion that happened on the 3500 block of 64th Street in Saugatuck Township. just after 11 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2020. Police indicated a firearm was used. No one was hurt.
Some family members were home at the time, according to Sheriff’s Capt. Scott Matice, adding they are being interviewed and police are sorting out what, if anything, may have been stolen from the home.
Matice said nothing like this has happened recently in the area. Police are still on the scene at of 10 a.m. Tuesday. Family members posted appeals to social media, describing two or three masked individuals but little detail other than that they are scared.
Anyone in the area who noticed activity near 134th avenue and 64th Street in Saugatuck Township at the time — or anyone in that area using video surveillance is asked to share what they know with detectives.
