HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland’s Tulip Time’s Dutch Dance alumni showed up for an organizational meeting, Wednesday evening, Feb. 19, 2020.
Dance director Jenn Ryckbost says it’s not too late to sign up for the 50th anniversary of Dutch Dance. so far, she said, close to 250 have signed up, but she’d like to see 300.
Dancers can expect a few chances, Ryckbost said., starting with the dance times, 7 and 8 p.m., starting on March 18, 2020 at the Holland Civic Center Place.
This year, too, Tulip Time is going digital, setting up a dedicated Dutch Dance website: alumnidutchdance.com.
Tulip Time Festival officials are looking for photos, old and more-recent, of past Dutch Dances, for a Holland Area Arts Council Dutch Dance 50th Anniversary exhibit.
The 91st Annual Tulip Time Festival is May 2-10, 2020.
