DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Retired Detroit Police Chief James Craig says he is “not giving up” and is running a write-in campaign for governor.
He was among five Republicans kept off the August primary ballot for not having enough valid voter signatures turned in.
Craig says he will “continue to fight” after the Board of State Canvassers removed him from the ballot. He says he and candidate Perry Johnson were “hoodwinked” by petition circulators.
