HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The City of Holland is hosting a Home Energy Retrofit Open House next from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at the Civic Center, which is at Pine Avenue between Seventh and Ninth streets.
Ken Freestone, the city’s residential energy advisor, said that everyone is welcome, though this is a City event, it’s also a great opportunities to learn about rebates from BPW and SEMCO, financing available for city residents through the on-bill program with the Holland BPW and low-interest rates from a statewide nonprofit, MichiganSaves.org.
Contractors available to answer energy conservation questions. City officials will have information for income-qualified homeowners. Area non-profits will have information on other resources low-income homeowners.
