HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Jeffrey Thomas Willis, the suspect in an April Muskegon County abduction attempt, has been charged in the 2014 murder of Rebekah Bletsch.
Police have named Willis as a person of interest in the Jessica Herringa case
Willis has been charged with open murder and felony firearm. In separate arrest warrants, Willis is charged with manufacturing child pornography, copying child pornography and using a computer to commit a felony.
In a press conference today the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office said ballistics matched Willis’ .22-caliber handgun seized from his minivan with the bullets found in Bletsch’s body during an autopsy and the shell casings found at the scene.
During the press conference today, the Prosecutor’s Office did not take any questions regarding Willis’ involvement disappearance of Jessica Herringa.
