GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 1, 2022) – Another sign of spring is the upcoming West Michigan Home and Garden Show.
The 34th annual event begins on Thursday afternoon, with around 300 exhibitors displaying what organizers say is “every product and service for your home and garden.” That could leave even the most seasoned, such as Master Gardener Jan Meeuwsen of DeBruyn Seed in Zeeland, exhausted with an empty wallet upon leaving DeVos Place in Grand Rapids. “I go away from there going, ‘Oh, I really want that and I want that,'” she said on “WHTC Talk of the Town” during her weekly appearance on Tuesday. “It is pretty overwhelming. Sometimes it’s best just to go in with a list of what I really want to look at, this is what I’m interested in doinng this year. Otherwise, I’ll tell you, some of those things can be very, very enticing.”
The West Michigan Home and Garden Show runs Thursday through Sunday. Listen to “WHTC Morning News” for a chance to win a family four pack of tickets to the show on Wednesday through Friday mornings.”
