HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A Holland City Councilman who holds one of two at-large positions on the council will undergo heart surgery today, June 24.
The Holland Sentinel reports that Wayne Klomparens, 73, has been struggling with his breathing on a walk of Tuesday this week and was assessed at Spectrum Health’s Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids.
Klomparens will undergo triple bypass surgery today.
