HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Construction is in full swing on US-31 and on Monday, June 27, more changes will take place.
Michigan Department of Transportation says traffic heading westbound will have a soft clousure at 120th Avenue and just west f West Shore Drive WB Felch traffic will be reduced to one lane, which will only be allowed to turn northbound onto US-31.
Traffic heading east on Felch Street will have a soft closure (one barricade + 1 ROAD CLOSED sign) at the intersection of 128th Avenue. You will be able to get around this barricade to still allow access to the businesses along Felch Street up to US-31. On westbound Felch at Van Ommen Drive there will be a hard closure (barricades from curb to curb + multiple ROAD CLOSED signs).
A smiliar clousure will be used starting July 5, 2016 for the intersection at Riley Street.
