HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – The City of Holland will be announcing a fundraising pledge next week for the Civic Center.
City Manager Ryan Cotton tells WHTC News that details are being worked out and will be announced at the next Holland City Council meeting on July 6, 2016.
The $2 million donation for the Civic Center from the family of George and Lucile Heeringa was first announced on WHTC’s Talk of the Town program on January 21 of 2016.
On Friday July 1, the city will find out whether or not they will receive a $11 Million dollar Qualified Energy Conservation bond from the state.
The public hearing is set for July 6 at 7 p.m at Holland City Hall.
