JAMESTOWN TWP, MI (WHTC) – Two women suffered minor injuries in a Sunday afternoon crash at Adams Road and 32nd Avenue in Jamestown Township.
Sgt. Matt Wilfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched around 5:04 p.m. when Chad Baker, 18, of Byron Center was driving a 2014 Edge and pulled into the path of another vehicle after after he was stopped at the stop sign at 32nd Avenue and Adams.
Baker did not see a 2005 Saturn driven by Jane Elzinga, 72, of Zeeland and they collided in the intersection. Elzinga and her front seat passenger Gayle Berens, 80, of Holland were treated at an area hospital for minor injuries.
Baker and his brother Charlie, 17, were not injured in the crash. All parties were wearing their seatbelts.
