HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Area construction will effect parking in downtown Holland with one project till mid-November.
The City of Holland is installing the sidewalk snowmelt system on Central Avenue and that will affect the west side of Central Avenue between 16th and 20th streets. No parking will be allowed and person’s violating the restriction risk having their vehicles towed. Homes should be accessible to residents other than when excavation work is taking place directly in front of their home. All through traffic will be required to detour via the posted detour or another north/south street.
Today, September 19, through Tuesday, September 20, no parking will be allowed on the south side of East 10th Street for a distance of 275 feet west of College Avenue. Holland BPW will be performing work to several manholes in this area.
