HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Another suspect in the fatal Hookah Lounge shooting that occurred on September 11th, 2016, has been charged and warrants have been issued.
22-year-old Anthony Lamb of Muskegon was shot to death in the parking lot of the Hookah Lounge off of Butternut Drive in Holland. Lamb was a half-brother to Tiana Carruthers, a survivor of the February 20 shooting spree in Kalamazoo that has jailed Jason Dalton. Lamb also has a 9 month old daughter.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Detectives have continued their investigation and on Friday, December 9, charges for the suspect were authorized by the Ottawa County Prosecuting Attorneys office. Since the time of the incident Sheriff’s Detectives have continued their investigation. During this time dozens of interviews have been conducted, along with numerous articles of evidence forensically tested.
On Friday December 9, 2016 charges for the suspect in this case were authorized by the Ottawa County PA’s Office.
Captain Mark Bennett says the suspect is 25-year-old Aaron Young who had been living in Holland Twp. at the time of the homicide. The multiple count warrant for Young includes the charges: Open Murder, Open Manslaughter, Carrying a Concealed Weapons and Felony Firearms.
Aaron Young is believed to be out of the state at this time. Sheriff’s Detectives are working with state and federal partners in trying to locate the suspect. Young’s cousin 27-year-old Adam Young of Fennville was arrested about four hours after the incident in September.
