HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – Yesterday’s scheduled arraignment of an 18-year-old Holland man on manslaughter and firearms charges in Holland District Court was postponed until Monday. The attorney for Davon Walker couldn’t come from Traverse City due to weather conditions. Walker is accused of shooting 22-year-old Derrick Ruff-Shingles of the Chicagoland area to death at a 40th Street apartment unit on Monday afternoon. Walker turned himself in to authorities on Thursday, and remains in the Ottawa County Jail on 200 thousand dollars bond. He could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
